WHAT IS SOFF?
Creative processes are hard to complete, especially within the ongoing hustle of living in the city - gigs, events, friends, long nights. SOFF is a residency program aiming to provide the headspace to work on that project you’ve had in mind for so long. SOFF means end, a place for you to finally complete that process – or at least begin it, which is the first step to finishing. Come out to the countryside for two weeks of inspiration in the company of fellow residents.

FIND YOUR FOCUS
Go out of the city into the countryside to find the necessary headspace to focus only on your creative process alongside another 6 professional creators.
Alongside working on your individual process, you’ll be taking part also in the group life by giving input in our daily spotlight and being active socially.
CREATIVE PROCESS
CREATIVE SPOTLIGHT
Take part in our evening creative spotlight - group sessions to help you think out loud and overcome that creative block.
We'll gather every evening before dinner and have one resident share current questions about their process. This could be an open question, or a kind of open studio, sharing where you're at - whatever will help you connect those dots. The group will give input and follow up in a guided method.
This is your chance to share, expose, learn and also contribute.
FULL BOARD ACCOMODATION
FOOD
Forget about cooking and taking care about your day-to-day and commit to your work.
Emma, our in-house cook will prepare us with a rich breakfast to start the day and a full dinner that we'll all gather for to finish our day. Snacks will be set out for lunch.
ACCOMODATION
You'll be sleeping a private room provided with fresh linen and towels. The bathrooms are shared and a communal utility room will allow you to do laundry on the spot if need be.

This is the part of being an artist we all work hard to dismiss, but you can't run away from promotion. As a new residency program out there, we're eager to spread the word about both what we're doing and what our participants are doing.

EXPOSE YOUR WORK
SOFF SUMMER EXHIBITION
Nothing helps push you to finish a process more than a deadline right?
Well, yes, but it also could create pressure.
We aim for SOFF to inspire and support you coming to an end of a process, or even part of it. We'll have a summer exhibition in Berlin to give you something to aim for, and another chance to showcase your work after the program is finished.

Plan your next steps as a professional with one-on-one career strategic consulting before and after the program from Ori, our managing director who's been consulting top tech companies.
Choose what to focus on in 3 hours of one-on-one:

Create a concrete plan for the next year.

Set milestones for the next 5 years, based on where you want to get to as a creator.

Plan a budget for a specific short term goal or project.
RESIDENTS
You will be part of a group of 6-8 creators, each working on their individual project for the duration of 2 weeks
DAY-TO-DAY
We'll have a rich breakfast served, you'll have the day to work with snacks set out for lunch. We gather in the evening for a our creative spotlight, where one participant will share their process with the group. After that, we'll have a communal dinner communal dinner prepared by Emma, our in-house cook.
PARTICIPATION FEE
€530 for 2 weeks. The price includes accommodation and food. This is a self funded residency program, and the price is intended strictly to cover the costs of this pilot program.
TRANSPORT
You can arrive by train or flight to either Prague or Nepomuk on Monday, and we'll arrange a pickup at a set hour for all the participants. Alternatively, you can also reach the mill directly by car.
WIFI AND CELLULAR
WIFI is available in common areas and in the rooms. Cellular reception is limited, and available in outdoors in specific spots.
